WhizPrep pledges 30% of Monthly Revenue to L.A. Fire Relief Efforts
WhizPrep is an emerging online education system formed with the sole intent of making education affordable for all kids!!
Our mission is to revolutionize the way students learn by offering personalized, high-quality tutoring sessions that prioritize understanding over memorization, because we believe that true academic success comes from fostering a deep love for learning and critical thinking skills.
Starting Dec 1st, 2024, 30% of proceeds from all new class enrollments priced at a nominal $40/hr will be donated to the below-mentioned organizations. We will continue to donate our proceeds until June 2025, hoping to help in whatever small way we can.
Month of December 2025: $102 donated to the Wildfire Recovery Fund. GoFundMe.org: Through its Wildfire Recovery Fund, GoFundMe provides emergency grants to verified individuals, families, small businesses, and nonprofits fundraising for themselves or others.
Month of January 2025: $262.50 and counting. Selected fund: Pasadena Humane Society: Rescued over 300 animals, including those with burns or injuries. They are accepting monetary donations and items from their Amazon wishlist.
Month of February 2025: It’s the month of the Super Bowl, and the proceeds will be donated to the NFL Fund via Redcross. The Red Cross is providing shelter, food, and relief supplies to people affected by the California wildfires. Donate today to help enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to, and help people recover from this disaster.
Month of March 2025: (Selected organization: Boys and Girls Clubs of Malibu: Provides free counselling, case management, and resource referrals for families based on their experience from the 2018 Woolsey fire. Donations are being collected for emergency grants, and once facilities are safe, an emergency relief centre will be set up.
Month of April 2025: (Selected organization: California Fire Foundation) Founded in 1987, the foundation supports firefighters, their families, and communities affected by fires. They are assisting both responders and impacted individuals.)
Month of May 2025: (Selected organization: California Community Foundation) The Wildfire Recovery Fund focuses on long-term needs like temporary housing, home rebuilding, mental health support, and emergency communications systems. Donations are being accepted, and they offer company donation matching.
Month of June 2025: (Selected organization: American Red Cross) The Red Cross is providing financial assistance to impacted households inside the perimeters of the Eaton, Palisades, Hurst, and Kenneth fires. We are actively doing outreach to eligible individuals via email, text message, or phone call directly from the American Red Cross.
