This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is part of the terms of use agreement of the web site(s) WhizPrep.com , applications, and other web sites (“web sites”) produced by the owners of these web sites, SPNCorp Inc. (“WhizPrep” or “we”). WhizPrep respects your concerns about privacy.

We want you to understand the types of information we collect, and how we secure and use them. Below terms apply to how we collect, secure, store, maintain, and use the information we collect through our web sites.
When you use these web sites, as a user, you agree to our collection, use, disclosure, and transfer of information as described in this Privacy Policy, which the user declares to have read, understood and accepted when registering as such. In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain about visitors to our website www.whizprep.com (the “Site”), our locations, users of our services (“Services”) and how we use and disclose that information.  By visiting the Site, or using our Services at our Site or our locations, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Policy.

The Information We Collect About You

You can contact us to obtain more information and consultation about the Services that we provide by filling out the form on our Site, and providing the following information: student name, parent name, parent phone, parent email, and zip code; however, you are not required to provide us with this information.  Information regarding any student that is a minor must only be provided by the student’s parent and legal guardian.

Information We Collect Directly From You

You can contact us to obtain more information and consultation about the Services that we provide by filling out the form on our Site, and providing the following information: student name, parent name, parent phone, parent email, and zip code; however, you are not required to provide us with this information.  Information regarding any student that is a minor must only be provided by the student’s parent and legal guardian.

The Site may include job postings from time to time for various C2 locations or our corporate offices.  You may be given the opportunity to apply for job openings online through an applicant tracking system operated by iCIMS by creating an account and submitting an application via the Site, which is then accessed and reviewed by the C2 human resources department.  If submitted through that tracking system, your resume or CV and other personal information (collectively, “Job Posting Information”) will be made available to the manager of the C2 location to which you are applying.  In addition, your Job Posting Information will be stored in that tracking system in an electronic database maintained by iCIMS in the United States on behalf of C2.  If you have any questions about iCIMS privacy practices, please review the iCIMS privacy policy, www.icims.com/legal/privacy-policy-website.

If you visit or sign up for Services on our website, we may collect the following information from you or your student:

  • Student name, student date of birth, parent name, parent phone, parent address, and parent email.
  • Credit card information for payment of fees for our Services.
  • Information on a student’s education, including grades, activities and other information that would be provided in connection with college applications (“Admissions Information”).
  • Student performance and scores on practice tests administered by us (“Testing Information”) and during tutoring sessions (“Tutoring Information”).

Information We Collect Automatically

We may automatically collect the following information (“Usage Information”) about your use of our Site or Services through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies: your domain name; your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your IP address; the length of time you visit our Site; and the referring URL, or the webpage that led you to our Site, and the following: access time, browser type, device ID, domain name, IP address, page views and referring URL.  We may combine this information with other information that we have collected about you, including, where applicable, your name, email address, and other personal information.  Please see the section “Our Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms” below for more information.

  • Franchisees and Affiliates. We may disclose the information we collect from you to our franchisees, affiliates or subsidiaries; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure of your personal information will be subject to this Policy.

We also may disclose the information we collect from you where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of any applicable agreements with you or this Policy, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
  • Aggregate and De-Identified Information. We may share aggregate or de-identified information about users with third parties for marketing, advertising, research or similar purposes.

Our Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms

We and our third-party service providers use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to track information about your use of our Site.  We may combine this information with other personal information we collect from you (and our third-party service providers may do so on our behalf).

Cookies.  Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser for record-keeping purposes.  Some cookies allow us to make it easier for you to navigate our Site, while others allow us to track your activities at our Site.  There are two types of cookies: session and persistent cookies.

  • Session Cookies. Session cookies exist only during an online session.  They disappear from your computer when you close your browser or turn off your computer.  We use session cookies to allow our systems to uniquely identify you while visiting or completing a form on the Site.
  • Persistent Cookies. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you have closed your browser or turned off your computer.  We use persistent cookies to track information about user activity, and to display advertising both on our Site and on third-party sites.

Third-Party Analytics

We use automated devices and applications, such as Google Analytics, to evaluate usage of our Site and our Services.  We use these tools to help us improve our Site and Services, performance and user experiences.  These entities may use cookies and other tracking technologies to perform their services.  We do not share your personal information with these third parties.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Policy, but instead is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites. We are not responsible for the information practices of such third-party websites.

Security of My Personal Information

We have implemented commercially reasonable precautions to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.
You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your login and password private.

What Choices Do I Have Regarding Use of My Personal Information?

We may send periodic promotional or informational emails to you, such as when you sign up for our newsletter at the Site.  You may opt-out of such communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in the e-mail.  Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests.  If you opt-out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you e-mails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us.

Children Under 13

Our Site is not designed for children under 13.  If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.

Recordings

For prospective Instructors, we may conduct telephone and video interviews, including mock classes, and we may record such interviews and mock classes. The purpose of the recording is to expedite the interview and facilitate the Instructor evaluation processes. The recorded audios and videos will be kept strictly confidential in our servers for a commercially reasonable period of time, and may share with prospective students or their parents. We may also record the audio and video interviews of the classes, Q&A sessions, etc. including actual classes experience. The purposes of the recording may include evaluation of Instructors, student progress, and enhance the future classroom effectiveness, collaboration, and facilitating the Instructor and class evaluation processes. The recorded audios and videos will be kept strictly confidential in our servers for a commercially reasonable period of time, and may share with prospective students, parent groups, and for other purposes as required.

We may disclose the recorded audios and videos to the public or share the recorded videos with any third parties as needed without seeking your further and specific consent. Classroom Videos and their contents recorded during the classes are the sole and exclusive property of WhizPrep and Instructors do not have any permission or right to use such video recordings for any purpose other than for use with the business objectives of WhizPrep, only as requested by the WhizPrep and only with the prior written consent of WhizPrep.

WhizPrep may use such video recording for any purpose as it may deem appropriate and Instructors consent to such use by WhizPrep without the need for any notice to Instructors.

Testimonials

We may post customers’ testimonials on our web sites, which may contain Personal Information from you. Once you accept this Privacy Policy, you give us your consent to publish any testimonial, post, comments, and any other representations you have made through our web site or our Offerings, along with your name if provided. BY CREATING AN INSTRUCTOR OR A STUDENT APPLICANT ACCOUNT AND AGREEING TO INTERVIEW WITH US, YOU CONSENT TO OUR RECORDING THE TELEPHONE AND VIDEO INTERVIEWS AND USE THEM AS DESCRIBED IN HERE.
